Obama Care

It is imperative that several key facts regarding the real cost of the Obama Health Care plan be addressed and not hidden under a mountain of misinformation.

In regards to the Congressional Budge Office (CBO) they are required to take legislation at face value. Therefore whatever numbers are put before them are the only numbers they can work with. Ergo, if the numbers presented to them are error ridden, then the final report they produce will be filled with errors as well. In other words, garbage in, garbage out.

If we strip away all the smoke and mirrors used to mask all of the budgetary tricks and rework the math accordingly, the actual cost of the Obama Health Care law will in fact increase, not decrease, the federal deficit by over $560 billion dollars. Where is that money going to come from? Answer, higher taxes. Tax increases on everything from suntan salons to soda pop.

The law front loads revenues while back loading spending. What this means is that the taxes are in effect right now, while the benefits of the new law are deferred. So the first ten years of revenue would be used to pay for only six years of spending.

Additionally, many costs were left out of the bill entirely creating a $110 to $120 billion dollar per year deficit that future congresses will have to address with additional spending bills each and every year. But this “discretionary spending” was excluded from the final CBO’s report because it wasn’t included in the first place. In other words, it wasn’t factored into the bill, that is now law, because the democrats knew that it would raise the federal deficit in a time when they were scrambling to prove that the Obama Health Care bill (Law) would lower the deficit. Basically put, they lied to cover up and hide the real cost of this new law from the American public. A clear violation of their oath of office.

Today, June 07th, President Obama appointed “we must redistribute wealth” Donald Berwick via a recess appointment, to be his health care czar. Thusly, with the stroke of a pen, Obama managed to avoid the congressional approval process that would have elevated the debate over this health care law once again into the main stream making it even more difficult for Democrats come November. Obviously this move by the Obama administration is another prime example of business as usual. No transparency here folks. Move along.

The real cost of Obama Health care law will come in the form of more government control, less freedom of choice for citizens, rationing of health care treatment, higher costs, long waits for care, reduced care, more taxes, and fewer doctors. People whom we will never meet or ever speak too will be the ones deciding what health care we can have access too, what care is cost effective for us, and how much we will have to pay in taxes for the privilege that they are bestowing upon us.

Now that the Obama Health Care Bill is law, it won't be the top 5% of Americans paying for it but rather the bottom 95% through the new taxes implemented by the law. Obviously this new health care law is so good for America that those who wrote and then passed it into law have chosen to exempt themselves from it. The Democrats, knowing that in every nation that has ever had a nationalized social health care program, it has proven to be nothing more than an expensive failure, ignored the fact that the majority of Americans opposed the bill, nevertheless joyously pass this bill into law. Chances are, under this new law, that when we are 50 years old and in need of expensive medial care we will have been deemed to have out lived our value as a citizen and therefore the only care that will be rationed to us will be a bottle of expensive, highly taxed, aspirin with directions on how to best prepay our death tax.

The real cost of the Obama health care law is going to top in the trillions and its lasting negative effects are going to be felt for decades to come. Remember, garbage in, garbage out. The real costs is something that the Obama Administration and the democrats do not want us to know. They fear that if the truth is widely known, they’ll lose power and above all else, liberals love power.
