Depressed?

Over five thousand years ago Mosses said to the children of Israel, pick up your shovels, mount your asses and your camels and I'll lead you the promised land.

Seventy five years ago when welfare was introduced, Roosevelt said lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel; this is the promised land.

Today the present administration has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the promised land.

I was so depressed last night thinking about the next four years, health care, the economy, lost jobs, dwindling savings, social security, retirement funds, etc etc. that I called the suicide hot line.

I had to press 1 for English; and was connected to a call center in Pakistan. When I told them that I was suicidal they got excited and ask me if I could drive a truck.

Folks we're so screwed.

After hearing this I had to laugh.  How true.
