The Nuclear Option

The democrats invented the Nuclear option and used it against the republicans in 2013. Today the republican used it because the democrats, with no reason other than partisan politics, blocked a SCOTUS nominee. Now the republicans are the bad guys according to the leftist media and their brainwashed followers. However, we all know that the democrats would have done the same thing, because they have, and that whether or not the republicans did or didn't is a mute point because we know that the democrats would.

Lets be crystal clear here, the democrats would use the nuclear option because that is the intended use for it and why they created the rule in the first place. They wanted to pass legislation and appoint judges without debate. It was an instrument of political power that abrogated the process and gave the party with the power a mandate which they promptly abused to the determent of the nation.

Now that the republicans have control of the Senate, something the democrats never thought would happen, they are left with no option, due to the petty political obstructionist agenda of the democrats, to use the very tool the democrats created in order to help the nation. The irony is, the Republicans are being forced to use the nuclear option, best explained as: using a simple majority to pass legislation or other rather than requiring a passing vote of 61 Senators, because the democrats are throwing a political fit over having lost power.

So this is not even an argument to be had. If the shoe were on the other foot today, the democrats would have already pushed the button back on day one with a big sardonic "ha ha" smile on their faces. There wouldn't have even been a debate, they simply would have done it just like they have in the pas, while flipping the bird at the American people.

So now that he republicans were literally forced to use this rule, they are the bad guys and evil “nazi” bastards? Oh the hypocrisy coming from the media and democrats alike is just sobering. Of course the mainstream media doesn't see it that way, they are too busy pushing the “nazi republican” narrative after all.

The point is simply, using the nuclear option or not by the republicans is a mute point because no matter what, the democrats would have used it without regard. The media would have, like they had in the past, hail them as legislative hero's. Again hypocrisy. Democrats invented the nuclear option for the sole purpose of using it, and using as often as they can. The only thing stopping them at the moment is that they lack control of the Senate. When the democrats used the nuclear option to force their ideology down the American peoples throat, the media called them hero's. By contrast, when the republicans use it to stop the democrats from abusive political partisanship and petty game playing that was harming the nation, they are the Nazi's. Does any one see the disparity in the narrative here? I mean why do we allow this propaganda to go unchallenged each and every day? Simple answer, because the media has a vested interest in keeping the truth silenced and attacking those who tell it. Remember, it was Mika Brzezinski, co-host of NSNBC's Morning Joe, who said on air that it's the media's job to control exactly what people think. Google it.

The Democrats worship at the alter of hypocrisy so devoutly that they make even the most extreme western hating, bomb wearing, jihadist look down right atheist by comparison. They used the nuclear option in the past, and they will use it religiously in the future once they have power back. Our only hope at keeping our democracy a Republic is to deny the democrats power. Unfortunately, our leaders lack the balls and brains to keep power away from the democrats because they won't act against the bias media machine, enact legislation that prevents such abuse in the future, and affirm our rights and liberates in such a manor that removes all future possibilities of them being abrogated, legislated, or litigated away by freedom hating liberal progressive democrats. So in two to four years we will once again be under the brutal tyrant boot of the democratic party and there will be no stopping them. It will be the end of the United States as we know it. And we have no one to blame but the media and the those who allow them to hide the truth from us; democrats.
