Governments Fail

People believe that the constitution is there to protect us from government. Well that's only part of it, its also there to protect us when government fails.  The constitution stands outside and apart from government so that in the event that our government should fail, and governments do fail, we the people have a means to continue on.  Our constitutional rights are not granted by government, they are granted by God. That means government cannot take them.  They are absolute.

However if we allow government to take our rights, as indeed this current administration is trying to do, and, God forbid, our government collapse for whatever reason, (economic failure) where would we then be?  Without any means of personal defense we would be at the mercy of thugs and criminal.

The constitution is our insurance against the failure of government.  We cannot allow those in government to take what they have no right to take.  If we do, they will not stop until they have taken it all, and then what happens to us?  The truth is, Governments fail and ours is no exception.  Especially now in this current world environment.

So I ask you, would you rather be armed and able to defend yourself, your family, your town or would you rather be one of those people who inevitably end up facing a ditch begging for your life?

Governments fail but the constitution, if left alone, can stand forever.

Lets Just Ban Anger

ya know with all the violence going on and all the angry people being pushed to act out we should, as a nation, just ban anger altogether. Ya know, make it illegal to get mad or make someone mad. Perhaps we should institute a mandatory five day waiting period from the time you think an angry thought to the implementation of voicing that angry thought. If we ban anger then no one will ever get angry and we'd never ever have any violence again. - Liberal Logic.
